Lymphedema Education – AHN Patients

The objective of these classes is to review the risk of lymphedema in patients who have had treatment for breast cancer. We will review what is lymphedema, why oncology patients are more at risk, current guidelines for risk reduction strategies, pre-operative and post-operative exercises and treatment options for those experiencing swelling. This class is recommended either before or after breast cancer surgery or treatment.
