About Our Program

Cancer Support

When diagnosed with cancer, you may experience shock, anger, sadness, and fear. Even your closest family members likely will not understand how you feel. But to paraphrase a well-known song, “we can get by with a little help from our friends.” Please contact us at 814-651-0920 with any questions about the classes we offer.

Linked by Pink

  • Every 1st Wednesday, from 6:30-8:00pm

We provide emotional and financial support for young women diagnosed with breast cancer.  We are here to assist them on their journeys with breast cancer and to be a place where they can feel they belong. We provide emotional support through our monthly meetings, one on one meetings and a private Facebook group page. We can financially assist patients with medical costs, travel costs to get to treatment and living expenses such as grocery cards and help with utility and rent or mortgage payments. As survivors, we want to be an inspiration for them just as someone was for us when we needed it.  This battle doesn’t have to be fought alone. We have all been there, some of us more than once.

Young Adult Caregiver Support Group

  • TBD based on interest and availability.

Cancer affects more age groups than you think. Even if you haven’t been diagnosed with cancer, you likely know someone who has. That person was also likely a loved one, partner, or family member.

If you are 35 years of age or under, please consider joining our peer-led discussion and support group to find peace and relevance in others that have gone through similar experiences as you.

With a significant experience with cancer, Kristin Hubert will lead the group as we share our experiences and offer support in an informal environment.

This group will meet first at the Erie Cancer Wellness Center and adjust to a better location if needed.
