Our volunteers make it possible for Erie Cancer Wellness to offer programs and services at no cost to individuals and families touched by cancer.

Current Need: We have most of our volunteer needs filled, but one BIG area of need is OUTREACH. Please complete our volunteer form so we can add you to our list and connect with you at a later date!

General Volunteer Activities

We're always looking for passionate people to help us with our mission. Whether you have a few hours a week or just want to help at events, there's a place for you.

  • Front Desk

    2–4 hour shifts, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm

  • Clerical Support

    Needs vary throughout the year; includes answering phones, data entry, tours, and similar administrative work.

  • Event Support

    May include weekends and evenings at ECWC-hosted events.

  • Community Outreach

    Represent ECWC at various community outreach events throughout the region.

  • ECWC Annual Fundraisers

    Weekends and longer shifts involved in our signature fundraising events.

Club or Group Opportunities

Throughout the year we have need for groups of 4 or more to help with program preparation, family events, facility cleaning, and annual fundraisers. Contact Katelyn at kkruszewski@eriecancerwellness.org or 814-651-0920 for more information.

College & High School Students

Volunteer Your Professional Services

Facilitation for individual services and programs offers a flexible schedule based on your availability. If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents, we'd love to have you!

  • Financial & Legal Consultations

    30–60 minute consultations with an individual or couple.

  • Strength & Yoga Classes

    45–90 minute gentle movement, strength, and flexibility classes.

  • Holistic Care

    Our most in-demand category. We offer massage (fully clothed), Reiki, Acupressure, and mini facials. Licensed professionals needed.

  • Feel Good Workshops

    Beauty-related programs offered 4–6 times per month, including skin care, essential oils, nail care, and scarf tying.

  • Creative Arts Room

    We have a brand new art space and are looking for experienced professionals to help facilitate art-related workshops and open houses.

  • Support Group Facilitators

    Licensed Social Workers and/or Counselors needed. Call our Program Director at 814.651.0920 to learn more.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Erie Cancer Wellness Center relies on our friends, donors, partners, and community supporters. The organization is 100% privately funded, not receiving government monies or insurance reimbursement. Funding for The Erie Cancer Wellness Center is provided by tax-deductible donations from a caring community of individuals, families, foundations, and businesses.
