Our Duathlon

The Erie Duathlon is a race event in support of the Erie Cancer Wellness Center.

The Erie Duathlon will be a 5K run, followed by a 20K bike, and finished with a 5K run.  The race will begin and finish at Pleasant Ridge Park in Fairview and will consist of a course through the beautiful county roads surrounding the park in Fairview and Girard.  The course is designed to engage the veteran racer but at the same time be achievable for the rookie or hobbyist.  All are welcome! Athletes can compete as an individual or as a two-person relay (one runner and one cyclist). The 2026 Erie Duathlon will be capped at 170 registrations.  We sold out last year so tell your friends to register early!

We invite you to create your own fundraising page to help raise important funds for the Erie Cancer Wellness Center.  If you achieve $200 in pledges, you will receive a long sleeve Erie Duathlon tee!  If you achieve $400 in pledges by August 1st, you will receive the long sleeve tee, AND a custom Erie Cancer Wellness Center cycling jersey!!  Create your page today and engage your friends and family to support you in the Erie Duathlon!

NOTE: If Registering for a relay, one person will register, name the team and pay for the team.  The second person will register on their own and join that team based on the team name.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Erie Cancer Wellness Center relies on our friends, donors, partners, and community supporters. The organization is 100% privately funded, not receiving government monies or insurance reimbursement. Funding for The Erie Cancer Wellness Center is provided by tax-deductible donations from a caring community of individuals, families, foundations, and businesses.
